Hi Nauseen, The cutters I used for the gold cake were the fmm plastic script alphabet cutters, I've only just had them and it was the first time for me to use them and was really happy with the result. I done them exactly the same way as Marjorie has explained earlier but they do come with instructions. I dusted the flower paste with gold dust before cutting the letters out. I cheated with the butterfly and bought it ready made although it wasn't edible. Thanks for all your comments!

Shianne,
You're wrestling cake is fab, did you pipe the picture directly on to the cake? I've been asked to do a Dora the explorer cake next month and was thinking of doing it the same way, but do I pipe on to a plastic sheet let it dry and then transfer it or pipe directly onto the cake??

Hi Julie,
I did that the first time around and it broke a few times. It takes forever to dry, about 5 days I would say. I lay the picture on top of the cake and prick little holes around the whole image so when I remove it, there's an outline. Then outline and fill. The next time I do one, I'll do colours one by one and let them dry before piping because if i make a mistake and maybe fill too much, then the other colour won't get messed up because it's already dry.
:-)

Thanks Shianne, I'll give that a try. It would be just my luck to do all the work and then have it break transferring it on to the cake.

Oh Emma, you're so different to how I expected you to look!!! I definitely thought you'd be brunette! I'd better post my photo on the thread I started then.

Wow shiannie you have been busy!
I love the playboy cake, did you use a special cutter for the bunnies. How did you do your palm tree after and what did you use for the sand.
I bet you'll be glad to have a break!!

One more to go! My little boy's birthday is on Tuesday but I have to have finished the cake by Sunday night (haven't even baked it yet!). I'm sooooo tired, almost falling asleep at the computer.
I used crushed wafers for the sand as the sugar would have been a bit too crunchy. I wired the palm leaves like Marjorie said and then used pastello for the trunk.
I cut out each bunny by hand. I really wish I'd had a cutter, would have made things a lot easier. I don't even know if such a thing exists? One of the ladies who owns a cake decorating company near us has got a cutter made. I wonder if I could find someone to do the same.
:-)

He loves Lazy Town so he wants a Lazy Town cake of course with Sportacus and Stephanie. I was going to do Robbie Rotten as well but I don't think I'll have the time.
