Your flowers are really nice...i've only tried roses and daisies, I think I should see about learning some others...have you been on a course?

no, havent been on a course, so thanks for the complement, the pink flowers I found quite difficult as i used flower paste and wires and they look ok in the photo, but close up they are not that great, the black flowers were more succesful, I used modelling paste and cut them with a 6 petal cutter, used a celstick to mark each petal and then dried them upside down on a foam flower former, then i used a small blossom cutter for the centre and added 4 stamans, they looked a bit like water lilys when they were finished

It was ok to do but as you can see I either didnt use a thick enough layer of butter cream or the buttercream was too soft and the flake started to slip. I used 4 packs of the ice cream flakes and cut them in half and then sliced them through the middle, but i got a lot of waste as it breaks so eaisly, but i love flake so yum yum!!!

It took a while, but it was fun to do, a teacher at the school made the fruit cake so I didnt have to bother with that.

Thank you, I had some flower paste that was going out of date soon, so I rolled it out cut out a square and when it was dry I painted it with black dusting powder mixed with rejuvinater, then I used a metal skewer to scrape the writing on

Cupcake tower, the rest of the cupcake were in boxes this was an 18 " board on the bottom but it only held about 22 muffin style cakes

they look really nice...you went for a runny icing then, rather than the sugarpaste...whenever i make muffins they always rise right out of the cases, regardless of how little mixture i put in them!
