Hiya Brenda ..I am a face painter...you dont need to have police checks ..some do have them but you can only get a CRB check if an agency or school etc apply for one on your behalf..so if like me you are by yourself you cant get one....
All you really need to have is a good clean kit, good sponges and brushes a few books and lots of glitter and public liability insurance..you cannot do anything with out this..also good cos I cover myself with the cakes and face painting under the same insurance about £68.00 per annum.
If you need any info re what paints etc just let me know..I have only recently started but have had training and just been on a two a masterclass with Olivier Zegers one of the best painters in the world....lots of fun..face painting goes very well with kids and cakes.....and is great fun.....

Great web-site Rach, super pictures - it looks very professional. I have one suggestion - saying that you have product and public liability insurance sounds dodgy - like maybe you have a reason to? I think the site looks so professional you don't need to say that - does that make sense?
How many hits do you get and where do you advertise?

Hiya Rach!! Lovely face paintings, wish you were nearer to me!! How are you doing with your website? The tatooing links are not working and i have one suggestion, hpe you don't mind, when in the gallery area, there's no direct link to your main page so you have to hit the back button however many times you've gone ahead of it. Would be a good idea to have a home link..just a suggestion of course. got to go, sorry and emma is right about the legal stuff, pp don't want to know that, you can tell them on the phone + a lot of ppl would know that you must have insurance for the face painting anyway.. catch up with fresh news later Ciaoww

Thanks Guys..this webpage is just a taster very quickly done as got probs with my .co.uk address....I do need to make adjustments on it cos there are quite a few bits wrong on it but till the site is handed back to me and I am shown wot to do it will have to wait...like i dont do henna tattoos and my phone number is wrong etc ..lol... oh well at least people can see wot I can do...got more pics but again cant upload them yet... Once I am shown hopefully can chop and change it to my taste and then get my .co.uk working..major probs there with where I registered the name..
Dont ask me more than that cos I dont know...my poor friend who does this for a living ..bless is still working on it says has to put it all in writing ..oh well...
I will sort out all the suggestions once I know wot to do ..thanks guys

Great website rach, sorry but i agree with the others, sounds a bit odd you have put that your kitchen has been inspected and the insurance bit, i know what you mean though, you do not want people to think otherwise, perhaps you could just move that bit further down the page or put it in small print.
