Hi all, I'm Jo. I love baking and decorating cakes (and eating them too of course!). None of my in-laws can bake to save their lives, so I'm always called upon to come up with the goods for birthdays and special occasions. I've decided it's time to improve my skills and learn how to do some of the more intricate stuff, like novelty cakes, fondant, sugar flowers, etc, hence the reason I've joined this forum. I would love to do some courses in these things, just need the time and the money first! I've got two toddlers who also love being in the kitchen, so if anyone has any ideas as to what I can make with them to get them more involved, then please let me know. I can remember always being in the kitchen with my mum and nanan when I was little, and I want my girls to have those same wonderful memories. Wow, for a quick introduction I sure have waffled on and on - sorry! Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone on here, and picking up lots of ideas, hints and tips

We do do training sessions...where we are online and we have questions and answers to verious topics..we are having a break from that this week due to the xmas quiz tonight..lots of goodies to be won..so come and join in if you can..
I have a 4 year old and she loves rolling out and cutting the fondant icing..so she is my little helper..and she loves making buttercream (and eating it)....
Its her birthday in Jan and she has asked for a four tier princess castle..the only prob I have now is that my face painting course is the same week so I will be away for a few days..get back just in time for her actual birthday..not sue if I am going to be able to do the cake now..
