Have just made cake mixture for little cakes for my grandsons birthday and found out now the milk I put in them is off. I didnt have enough milk so add a few onz's of milk to make it up. Will they be ok or should I not chance it. many thanks. Brenda

Brenda - if you've put the milk in the cupcake mix already then it's too late - you must chuck it all. I don't quite understand your message about not having enough milk so adding some milk to make it up?! Is this a typo? If you now don't have enough milk to make the cupcakes then use as much milk as you have and the rest could be water or even orange juice - it just needs to be liquid, you could even go mad and add beer!

typing error I meant to say eggs. I had 13ozs of eggs and made it up to 15oz with themilk for a 15oz mixture.

I'm sure that would be fine, eggs are an imprecise measurement anyway as each egg is different sized. I hope they work out!

Hello emmascakes thankyou for your help yesterday I was really grateful. could see me throwing them all away. well it made about 56 cakes, all eaten, and no complaints. Infact one little boy asked who had made them because they were so nice. Ah Bless! only 5. Found out my husband had also had some of the milk on his breakfast he said it tasted strange.!
