HI Alison, Looking great!! Hope everyone's ok with this too, I'm taking kids out to uxbridge today, Hillingdon councils in participation with the local schools has organised a maths trail for KS1 kids(5-7). It's gonna be fun I hope!! Catch up with you later!!

Hi everyone. Hope you have all had a great sunday. I live in Somerset and have been to Clarks at Street today. Didnt buy anything but some Rum and Raspberry tea fro Milliards.! and some cookies. Now that gets on to my question is there anyone who has a great cookie recipe they would like to share.? Also how long would a homemade christmas pudding last.? would be nice to hear from someone sood. bye for now Brenda

Hi Brenda, Rum and raisin tea thats sounds different - is it terribly sweet?
My nan always used to tell me the longer you leave the christmas pudding the more mature flavour you get. She still make us all one now bless her ! all she does is wraps them up and pops them in her pantry and keeps adding the brandy once a week until christmas day.

Thankyou Alison only I made three last year and still have two left just wondered if I could use them now. It isnt raisin and rum tea but raspberry and rum. Just a bit on the sweet side but makes a change to tea or coffee and prehaps with some added rum - now that would be very nice.!! haha

I should imagine your christmas puddings will be excellent! I know the shop bought ones have a date on but to be honest I have never looked - they really don't compare to home made do they? !

well hoping someone will help me out..but you never can tell....if I get anything I will let you know......I will be at home tomorrow...guess what finishing off the cake for saturday....I just hope my little girl doesnt want to help me too much she doesnt quite understand why she cant stick her fingers into the icing to make pretty picture.......
