thanks rach im glad you like it cos.my nephew rang me after school to say thank-you and he loved it ,but next time could i do it with the wheels down ,and did i forget the flaps ..............thats gratitude for you eh. he's so funny

hi julie i just baked one large 9x11 inch cake and cut out the centre section where it rose in the middle i left it to get the rounded shape then made templets and cut out the wings from the off cuts. i then shaped the nose and tail by just trimming off the corners and sandwiched it all together with buttercream.i have also adapted this shape to make a dolphin and fish it works quite well also
