Hi Julie,
That's lovely! I love the white background with the coloured stars. I was asked about a price for a Dora cake today. Did you charge for this one? If so, may I ask how much? I'm so fed up of thinking up prices for cakes. It has to be the hardest thing about this business!

Ooh, it's a long time since I've seen a Ninja turtle! Was it quite hard to do Julie? Especially the building it up part?

Thanks Shiannie, I built the turtles nose up by using the dome of the sponge which I had trimed off the cake earlier when leveling it and just placed it back on in the right position which made it easier as it was the right shape that I needed.

This is my card cake, sorry about the picture it's a bit dark. I did cheat a little bit on this cake as I cut out the king of hearts from a real playing card and stuck it on as I didn't have a great deal of time to do it.

And here is my latest Bratz cake. Shiannie did you leave your brat on the clear plastic when you placed it on top of the cake? when i tried to take mine off the plastic It came off in pieces and I had to put it back together like a jigsaw puzzle.

Hi Julie,
Very nice cakes. I like the way you did the crimping on the card cake.
Yes, they do sometimes come apart so it does get frustrating trying to put the pieces back together again. I tried taking a photo of it before I moved it across and that helped a bit. The other thing is to cover a card about an inch or 2 smaller than the cake and then build up the character on that. Then when you're done, just put the card on top of the cake and pipe around it so the edges of the card can't be seen. This way when the cake needs to be cut, the card can just be lifted up. Makes it much easier than transferring it bit by bit.

Hi Julie!
Wow, you have been busy! I LOVE the last 2 and the shoe on the cushions in particular (although all are great - lots of work!).

Hi All Hope you are all keeping well! You all seem to be busy with losts of new cakes on the site. I haven't been on the site for a while as I have recently started a new job and am now working extra hours so haven't had much time to myself lately. Here are some cakes that I have done since last on here! Julie
