I think you have done an amazing job...anyone would be soo happy with that cake...The roses are beautifuls and you spacing and writing is great....you having nothing to worry about there

I think it's a lovely cake too. Did you use the cutters for the roses? If you get shaky writing you could always pipe the writing on to waxed paper first, letter by letter, leave to dry and then place on to the cake, that way you get as much practice time as you like. I'm a hopeless piper and never attempt words!

Wow, Lovely cake! Well done. Is this your first cake Jenny? Would anyone else suggests putting the cake on a bigger board and covering the boars too? For next time obviously now that you'll get more orders!!

Thank you for your kind words. I can't take credit for the roses I am afraid, I bought them ready made. :-( Though have been inspired to try my hand at making my own now. Though having said that I'd never have gotten 32 made in the time I've been given to do the cake so don't feel too cheaty. Been looking at too many 'perfect' cake pictures for inspiration I think!
