Hi Julie
I am totally self taught lots of books and sugarcraft magazines..........Thankyou for your comments...Those flowers did take me ages got the inspiration from Alan Dunns book on wedding cakes and flowers...fitted in so well mith my wedding theme.......It was a shame though people knew I made the cake but (i suppose I should take it like a compliment) alot thought the flowers where real..even the photographer I asked specially to cake some nice ones of the cake for me, did take them of the cake and not the flowers............typical. All the pics I took in my camera then got lost as my camera broke........
Oh well at least my uncle took this one..but not as clear....
I say with flowers it comes with practise ans using the right sugar...I alsways use squires kitchen sugar flower paste..its fab comes in white and also coloured..depending on what you need it for about £3.50 a packet....A packet goes along way though.
I find people these days dont tend to want flowers as much...tend to do more novelty and modelling and the last wedding cake was the crystal one..flowers really dont seem as popular now..I dont know if anyone else has found this aswell...
If I can help in any way just let me know...but practise..good sugar paste and cutters and you will be amazed..

Morning Rach - Im going to have a go at making these a little smaller for you now - Im not sure if it will work as they are not my pictures but I will have a go.
To be honest though I like them this size as you can see all of the detail in them.
