I am trying to get rolled fondant to stick to dummies and am having little luck. I tried wetting the dummy - it still didn't stick. Are you guys using sugar syrup or something to get it to stick? it's not helping that I'm trying to use a dummy that I've carved to have a concave arc around the sides!

You just need a very little water - put some on your hand and rub it all over. If there's too much the paste will just slip off, perhaps that's what's happening?

It's no slipping off - it's just hanging off - it's not sticking at all! I think it's because I've carved a dumb shape. Back to the drawing board...
