Hi,
I'm having display table next month and I'm also going to be selling cupcakes. Does anyone who's done a display or selling, use anything to carry or put the cupcakes into when selling? I don't really have any containers and don't want to leave them just sitting on the table as it's not that hygienic. Any ideas?
Thanks, Shianne

I am doing alot for a featival in a couple of weeks and I have bought plastic and paper bags and boxes for people to take the stuff home in and on the table got plastic table cloths and plates and also got disposable 3 tier stands to show off some cup cakes and I am also selling them aswell

Hi Rach,
I meant for displaying them on the table and taking them to the venue.
The disposable stand is a good idea, where did you get it from if you don't mind me asking?
My stall is mainly to advertise the cakes I make but I thought I'd try and recoup some of the money spent on the stall by selling cupcakes.

okay to take to the venue I have got stackable trays and I can get 20 muffin sized cakes in each on and they are great got em free from the local grocer...he has the fruit delivered in them and has too many so I have got 20 now........fab put em in and then wrap 4 trays at a time in cling film and into the car. The disposable stands I bought off ebay..just thought it would be a nice touch ....

Someone left a Vogue in the office today and there is an article on rachelmount.com who is the sugar artist to the A-list celebs - worth a look - also have a look at frufru.co.uk who do only cupcakes delivered in London - £25 for 9.

How incredible Marjorie, my mom sent me the article in the post and it arrived this morning. It's amazing although I don't think i'd like to go to all that effort for one cake! I'll have a look at frufru now. OMG!!! They're so plain yet they charge the earth for them. I could do better than that! I can't believe they're so expensive. Think I should start a company like that

Yup - I think we all need to boost our own egos a bit when you see what some people get away with compared to some of the talents on this site!
