Would like some opinions please. when you make leaves i have read in my book you can either buy a rolling pin grooved for this or buy a board with grooves in?? can you tell me which is easier, or what is easier for a novice. thanks............

I use a rolling board with grooves..find it much easier to use....

i also use the rolling board with grooves but i think the rolling pin could possibly be easier because you can roll a long narrow piece of paste with a groove in the middle and then just cut as many leaves as you need. but i suppose if you only want to do one at a time (because the paste dries so quickly) then the board is just as good. either or i say!
