Hi,
I'd like to make a bow on my cake but am not sure what to use. Sugarpaste with gum trag might be a bit floppy?
Any suggestions?
Thanks! Shianne

hi Shianne what sort of bow...if its like the bow around my parcel cakes I used 50/50 sugarpaste and modelling paste....and supported it with sponges until firm..
I have got one to do in red for next month so I think I might use sugar dough as that sets quickly and I find holds it shape well..do like the sugar dough at the mo....Also still got quite alot of red dough left so might aswell give it a try..

Thanks Rach! How do you make sugar dough? I need it to be like the bows you buy ready made to put on gifts. One's that stand upright.
