Hi,
Could anyone tell me how you attach a ribbon to a cake and cake board? Do you use a glue?
Thanks, Shianne

Shianne
Either use edible glue or you can use any other clear/white stuff such as pritt stick - as long as it's not going to be eaten. Keep in place with some pearl or glass headed pins until it's completely stuck. Also, if putting the ribbon round the cake itself, wet it and run it through your fingers to remove excess water and it should stick to the icing direct.
Hope that helps.
Marjorie

Thanks very much! I'll try the water for the one on the cake and i'll have to find some glue for the one on the board. Sorry Marjorie, i haven't found your email i sent you yet because i have a bad habit of not sorting out my emails. I'll have a look this evening.

Hi, I know is a bit late for this as we are now in April but for the ribbon on the cake i use royal icing, but to put ribbon around the cake board i have used prit stick glue, but the easiest is to buy double sided sticky tape and that works brilliantly.
