Hi, Please can anyone tell me if they know of a way to get rid of dust that's fallen where it shouldn't. I've got lilac dust on my white sugarpaste and it's ruined everything. Thanks, Shianne

One tip is dab it with another bit of sugarpaste..a clean bit each time and that will remove some of the excess... Its difficult cos sometimes the more you do to try and remove it the more visable it becomes....also abit of icing sugar on your finger once you have dabed with the sugarpaste could help...and even sometime I have put on a bit of white dust to help take it away.......
You will never fully get it away but hopefully that might help...try and dust before putting on the cake or cover the area before dusting.......last resort put something over it to compliment the design..let me know how you get on.

Thanks Rach, I did try but to no avail. It wasn't the best cake anyway, so i'll just have to start again and try something different.

Ooh excellent! I actually charged 30 pounds for the halloween cake. I don't think it was too expensive though because i came in a bit cheaper than the cake shops around here. They would have charged 34 pounds.
Still waiting for a xmas cake order, not sure i'll get one though!
