Hi, I'd like to offer organic cakes on my website and I'm just having a look at tescos to see if i can get all the organic ingredients. The only thing is the icing sugar or sugarpaste. Can you even get them in organic? Otherwise, does anyone have any recipes i could try? I'm not even sure you could make organic novelty cakes because the dusts and everything wouldn't be organic. Although i think that's probably taking this a bit far!! Thanks in advance. Shianne

Shianne
Try Doves Farm on dovesfarm.co.uk. They produce organic and gluten free flours etc. I use their GF flour to make rich fruit cakes and they are fine. I know Tesco and Sainsbury's stock the flour, but check with their website on other stockists.

Thanks Marjorie, I haven't tried Sainbury's yet. I've had a look at Dovesfarm and they're pretty good. The only thing is the icing and sugar paste. Not sure where to get those which are organic.
