starting up a new business

Hi ,

I'm know up and running offically as Mandy's Cake-House...

I have registered with the council, tax office. & in process on insurance..
Businees card are degined & ordered from Vistaprint.
I have put my Album in the kitchen at work (busiest place) & had 4 cake orders already....
I'm really busy at moment i have 2 cakes last week, 3 cakes for friday & 2 cakes a week for the following 2 weeks.... Don't know how I'm doing it, what with a full time job , 2 kids, & housework etc. Hubby has to do his share of the chores, even asked him to learn how to do so cake work, HA HA, but he's up for it, which is suprising... I can see him walking around with his pinnie on, rolling pin in one hand icing sugar all over him!!!.

Well must go cakes to bake...

oh thats great news..dont forget to post up pics when you get time would love to see some...best place for insurance is Blackfriars got mine for cakes and facepianiting for £68 a per for product and public liability

Wow Mandy that's amazing! I don't know how you're going to get the 3 done for friday! i think i had a similar number but a couple of days apart and it was really stressful. I also make them from home so can only do them in the evenings (after the children have gone to bed) and on weekends. How much do you charge for your cakes if you don't mind me asking?
