Hi everyone i thought last night that i was going to be the 1st to post my mini cake disaster i found it so difficult to get the shapedispite your advice about printing it off web and cutting round it .However ( i still dont think its anatomically correct ) but it does look like a car now ive got icing on .and im really quite chuffed. as i was going to throw it out and do something different yesterday. Ive still got the chrome work to add and some little details and found your advice with the trex Amazing.Its black and shiney and a replica of my daughters real one so when its finished ill post it .(her birthday sat) thanks for your advice julie

can you not just do black discs and then paint on the alloy spokes and rim with silver? Or, if you have a calyx cutter or some other star shape, cut that out of silver paste and stick it in the middle of a circle? I don't know really, probably talking out of my bum here!

have a look in linscakes, she's done some wheels on her carriage that i'm sure can be adapted to look like alloys...
