Hey all, i'm back from my 2 weeks stay in mauritius, Waether was nice, but had an awful time as the mosquitoes were everywhere, especially there is another type of mosquito bite which is called chikumgunia something, if get bitten you end up with joint pain, high fever, nausea and all sort of problems, my sister and husband and my husban's brother all got it and had to be admitted to hospital for 4 days!! Nevertheless we did have some good time with kids at the beach! Alison if it's ok can i post some piccy plz? Look forward to contributing again!!

Nauseen
Wondered what had happened to you - missed you from the mailings. Hope you are all getting over the mossie bites - certainly put me off going somewhere exotic like that now. Anyway, glad to have you back in one piece.

Hi All, Would like to know if anyone have any lily and orchid cutter, Which ones do you use and why? I wanted to go for the Hawthorne hill as it's supposed to be cutter and veiner in one. Theonly thing is Alison don't do em and ebay only have a few, There's one finishing at 1527 and 1530, but i'm not in until 1535 from school!!!

Hiya I have a hawthorn Hill lily cutter used when I made my wedding cake...have a look..it works really well...as it cuts and shapes all in one and also has a former to lay your petals on and it has a leaf cuter and stamens....
If you want you can borrow it..let me know..
Used mine on all my wedding cakes ..fab

Oh Thanks Rach!! I have just ordered the multi cutter from the hawthorn hill and also the orchhid cutter, it turned out to be really good value as there are offering free p.p and a mystery prize! Will let you know how i get on, The teacher demonstrated how to make them, very keen on trying these beauties
