I'm just popping some upcoming events on here as the peppa pig competition is still running.
I have arranged a very special treat for members of this forum. I can not announce what it is yet but should be able to at the end of the week - I think your all going to like this 1!!! so keep the end of the month free. ;D
Also we shall be having a competition night again in March.

Gosh Alison, i've got four now, excluding all my family's cakes! The lady i made this cake for (she got my details from a poster i'd put up) ordered another 2 when she saw the rugby ball cake. One for her daughter and one for her parent's silver wedding anniversary. So exciting! The other is for my friend's son in May and my health visitor wants a cake for the end of Feb. I have a feeling i'm going to get a lot of business through the lady with the rugby ball because she seems to know quite a few people so it'll hopefully be word of mouth. I gave her cards with my details on (stuck a magnet on the back so she can keep it on her fridge and not lose my number!) and a few extra for her friends. I do get a bit nervous though but i can't wait to start each cake. You learn something new each time. With this cake, it was third time lucky. Because it was a tin and i had to guess, the first time i put too much mixture in and it overflowed, second time there was too little. And, the middle wasn't cooked perfectly on the last one so it had to go back in the oven after cutting it open!! I find the ready cake mixes a lot easier but they put so many other things in that just aren't necessary.

Wow, that's great Rach! Scanning the logo sounds good and you'll do a great job of it as usual.

I ccant spell today that was supposed to be mayor of worthing.......I will have to get another to scan and print the logo but need it quite big as its going to go on a 12 inch cake....I have used one company before but they scan onto a very thin sheet..thinking about maybe getting onto a slightly thicker one so easier to get off..
Anyone know of any good companies for that
