How is that going? You need it for this weekend right? I was gonna ask about the cake i', making, I am doing a 3 tiered one. But only 2 will be stacked and the smaller one i wanted to use pilars. I 'm not sure however how to do the pillars. IS it not going to fall off?

Another question was i went to buy the ribbons today. I don't have a lot of colour pots. I was thinking of top tier holly green, second one lemon and third one tangerine?

no the weight of the cake will normally hold the pillars in place

I am having to carry cake from hayes to epsom. I have bought a box for the 2 stacked cake, WHen i get there i just put the pillars and lay the top tier on it? When u say to dewel the cake it's the thin wooden roda that you put in the cake? I do each cake first? And you have to cut it to be ot visible on the surface ?

Leave the dowel long so that it goes thru the cake and pillars? Not cutting them?

no the dowels wouldnt be viasble as they would be in the cake and through the pillars..if you take the pillars off just lift the dowels out at the same time..they come in plastic and wooden and trim down to size..If you are going to make it up there you could get away without it..but then I would be worried abit if it slid so prob best too

the coulours sound pretty..when you put them on see how they look if not happy you can change them..also sometimes it is good to have all one colour of ribbon...but put it together and stand back and look at it and see how it is... It sounds very pretty
