Hi, What would i use instead of buttercream inside a cake? Just jam? I suppose there's jam and cream but is there anything else i could use? Thanks

chocolate fudge .....lemon curd.....cream cheese frosting
um....jam..lol..
After saying that I still use buttercream but I am going to use lemon curd for a few cakes coming up for the school fete...

The lady who wants the cake hates buttercream! So i suppose it'll have to be plain jam, unless she wants any of the one's you've suggested. I don't particularly want to use cream because of it going off.
