no.....it actually called trex i think its by flora trex white fat its a vegetable fat.......please dont use lard

ha ha ha...no, I won't use lard...I will have to buy some trex and see what its like...still not sure about putting fat of any sort on the icing, but if you say its okay then i'm sure it is, i'll give it a go.

Well, I couldn't find trex in asda, so got some flora white fat - is that the same sort of thing? I looked at it and it looks just like lard to me (actually roasted my potatoes in it today and they were yummy) - still not sure about putting it on the icing???

Trex is v. useful - white flora is a reasonable substitute but a bit too soft and greasy. You don't taste them unless you're adding way, way too much. Also knead the sugarpaste (and Trex) well in your hand to warm it up and soften it before you poke it in the gun. Diane
