Hee hee! My husband's studying to be a plumber and then he needs experience. He's almost finished his course which is really nice. I really dread the long winters. Sooooo glad this one's almost up! Roll on summer!

Hi Rach,
Craig is going into the heating side of plumbing. He's already got a job lined up with the company he's with at the moment. Don't think he'd much like to clean toilets but he will if he has to. One day he'll have his own company and we'll be rich and live happily ever after - HA HA!!! ;D Well, as long as we're healthy and have our families, what does it matter how much we earn, as long as we're happy.

Hiya Shianne
Hubby has his own business but does alot of site work new houses etc..he doesnt like going into occuiped homes so much as you get talked to death and can be more hassle than its worth sometimes....but when its a big job its worth it but alor of the time its the rad leaking or loo and so thats why he went into the new house side..dont have those probs...
I have been to South Africa aswell my brother got married to a SA girl out there...they met here but we all went over for the wedding...went to Durban for the wedding then we carried on our hols and went to victoria falls and then to cape town.....very nice but you do have to be carefull
Victoria falls was amazing ans we did white water rafting..great fun but never again

Not sure about that Nauseen, have a look at Cake Deco, they're the largest Australian cake decoration supplier. I think it's pretty much the same as here. Just have to make sure i move into an area where no one's cake decorating!! :-)

Hi Rach,
I was born in Zim but moved to SA when i was about 4 so i don't remember the falls although we have the photos somewhere! Not sure if we'll ever go there again especially with the country the way it is now.
We used to live near Kruger Park and that was lovely. We then moved to Pinetown, just outside Durban. Have been to Cape Town too and it's also a beautiful place. Sigh!
Also been white water rafting but in Austria. Wouldn't do that again either, especially if the water's that cold!!!!
It must be great your hubby having his own company. At least he's not working for someone else. Definitely the way to go.

it is good...but he sub contracts to a firm so this means he is working every day and gets a regular wage as he is on site...if you go waiting for the calls way.....sometimes you can get a good week others not so..and when you have mortgage and stuff to pay that can be worry..this way we dont need to..also the bad thing about it is that when you have time off you dont get paid..so if you want a holiday you have that plus lose one weeks wage on top..at least if you work for someone else you get paind holiday leave....
