That's grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! How did you do it? Do you do the black outline first? It almost looks like a run out.

oh thanks....glad you like it..I baked the cake in the wilton tigger tin and then covered in white fondant and then I got my orange fondant rolled it out and cut out the shape and placed the cut shape onto the white base..then I added the yellow belly then the black fondant strips all pre rolled and cut before putting onto the cake. then I worked on the face giving it abit more depth on the chin and eyes and then to finish I got my sugar shaper and outlined everything in the black....the whole cake was glazed with a very light covering of trex to get a nice shimmer and then of course the glitter...lol.....cant not use glitter

Gosh Rach, that's a lot of work! Did you make the topper yourself?

Rach, did you buy a mould for your sugar slipper/shoe from the internet? I've seen one on Design a cakes website but it doesn have a mould for the front of the slipper. There's a wedding slipper mould but i'm not sure how i would do it! Do you just roll out the paste and then mould it inside the shoe to make it fit nicely?

the topper the all crystal ones I get a lady off ebay to do for me cos I can do the sugar and crystals ones but havent learnt too twine the big lengths yet....
Also the sugar slipper I got from lindy smith site she has the slipper mould one there and all you do is roll out and shape on the base of the slipper let that dry and then build up the rest of the shoe..I must admit I cried over that shoe for it kept breaking when tring to remove it fromt he mould but after the second attempt I got it out and it was okay but alot of work..it will probably be easier the next time round..allow ages for the pastillage to dry in the mould and then more time once you get the blooming thing out..lol...
