Yes, it all looks so easy in books, but you've made an excellent job of it. I'm just about to finish a christmas cake order today so hope to post it soon. Been rather quiet as concentrating on my own christmas arrangements this year. Shopping nearly all done - if I could just get some goose fat (as seen on Nigella!). Made her chocolate christmas cake yesterday and it smells soooooooo good.

Wow Rach, a lot of work went into that! I love the octopus ;D Well done, I bet she loved it. Nice having a mommy who makes cakes isn't it? How did you find using the people mould?

How much did you charge for the crystal one if you don't mind me asking?
I've got 3 wedding cake orders for this year. The yellow pages one liner has done really well. I really have to get some insurance now though.
Are you getting busier again Rach?

yep busier....more with cakes and painting....with the crystal one I charges £110 but i quoted her for a two tier and put an extra one on for a surprise..so it should have been abit more for a 3 tier one

I did post a reply yesterday but not sure what happened because it's not here! I would probably have charged 330 for the 3 tier cake.

Hi Rach,
I think it's brilliant! Is this the one you said you also weren't too happy with? I don't have a clue why if it is!
