Just wondering if any of you have been to a Debbie Brown workshop - there's one I like the look of this summer, but I thought I'd ask what people thought before splashing out.
Also it's Squire's ehxibition next weekend and I wondered if anyone had gone before, what you thought of it and if anyone is going next weekend?
The birmingham NEC was a killer - I'd never go again, too busy, too much pushing and shoving - is Squires going to be like this?

Hi emma,
I'm a big fan of Debbie brown & recently brought 3 books from her, which she autographed for me.. I have been looking at the workshops she does but can't decide which one to go for... Knowing my luck once I decide there's no spaces left..
It would be good to here from someone who's been on one?
Which one are you thinking of going on?
Cheers Mandy

Well i have been looking at them aswell..until I moved she used to live about 10 mins from my old house..typical...lol......never realised and now when I want to go I have to travel up....I would be more interested in figure modelling etc rather than doing just a set cake cos I feel once you have the modelling for figures and animals that would be more use for future orders..but would love to do any of her courses really

I want to go on the two day Persian Palace one. I've emailed her to see if there are any places, which it says to do on her web-site, but haven't had a reply yet. I'm running my own course in November and I just wanted to go on a professional course so I can get some ideas as to how to run my own. Also I like some of the finishes on the cake and it would be good to pick the brains of a pro.
