Hi Ali,
Just thought it might be nice to have an area for beginners to Cake Decorating. I myself would find that area very useful.
Perhaps - Go through the different tools and best uses of them - a step by step guide to getting started that kind of thing.

Hi Elaine,
Thanks for joining in to our site.
First thing in the morning I shall set the board up.
Would it be handy for you to have a general a-z or maybe split in to sections?

Hi,
Thanks for the great welcome.
What might be good is a step by step guide for complete beginners letting them know what tools to start out with from the basic ones upwards.
So they can perhaps have a go at their first cake.

What I would like to know is what people cant live without..ie what tool or what icing or colour....
For me it would be my smoother for smoothing out the icing on the cake and my sugar shaper..great for novelty cakes.......... Also my little curved heart shape cutters ..so nice for all types of cakes and my rose petal cutter for sugar flowers..might get some more..but I find now sugar flowers dont tend to be in demand as much...must keep it up though.. For edible stuff I love the edible glitters from edible art beautiful and also the shimmers from sugarflair ..also I use squires kitchen paste for modelling and flowers fab....
Well there you go..
What r your favs.........
