that would be a good way to do it at least then you wouldnt have to hire a tin you could do it on a round or square..I think she used florist paste,,,,what she did is traces out from the book and then with a scriber and the stencil used that to mark out the figures.....
Thet were left to dry and then painted and dusted on....
good luck thats going to be a good one..you could always do edible images which are then placed onto fondant so they can stand up and you could do a scene with those........ Did you get this from your website .....let me know what you decide to do

HI Rach, i'm doing ok, I haven't been advertising yet, as i still haven't had my kitchen done!! Just scared they miight not like what they see.. I get orders like once evry 2 months.. I got 3 this months actually 4 if you cont the monkey i turned down the other 2 as i might be going on hols later thhis month. They are all for friends at work and my DD's friend's birthday. The one i'm working on now the dora one is for my ex collegue.
Shianne, You could always do a big sheet cake and trace the pictures on cardboard or tracing paper then use different coloured fondant to do pictures with, not sure what the actual technique is called.

I always do raspberry jam (seedless)........I put my sugar syrup on the bottom then my buttercream and I turn the top layer over and sprean my jam on there and turn back and place on the buttercream...best way then you get a good layer of both without mixing togethre

no only one layer of each...just put the buttercream on the bottom layer..then put you jam spread on your top layer...
so your cut when cut will be cake buttercream, jam then cake
