all lovely cakes..really like santa..nice and different and trhe colours stand out..thomas is good too..really must give it a try...got my daughters cake to do next but nothing too major on that one..phew

oh yes!! luckly nothing to difficult this year..lol...its a pokemon cake so I am going to use the edible images to get a tru likeness and probably do another stacked cake with ash and pikachu on the top and other pokemon around the cake..not sure what colours to do yet though..she loves pokemon..lol...

sounds great youll have to post it after .Who do you use for your edible images or do you do your own and how long do they take to arrive thanks .its just at the moment i just print mine out and mount on icing and board but its nice if its all edible

I use a companyh called www.exquistefondantdesigns.co.uk they are great always do custom ones for me,.me and my weird requests...lol...usually take about 3-4 days to come..very nice images too

Hi everyone ive been asked to do a cake with a mini drum kit on top any ideas as to what to make the symbols and stands out of? ?

I would try pastillage which sets rock hard for the stands and maybe flower paste for the symbols then painted gold..you could you pastillage paste for all of it..this is what I use on my castle cake to make the towers..very strong..hope that helps a little
